El-Rufai accuses Kaduna Gov Uba Sani of sponsoring terrorism
Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, the immediate past governor of Kaduna State has accused the Governor of the state, Senator Uba Sani of sponsoring terrorism.
El-Rufai, who referred Gov Sani as his godson, decried the governor’s failure to follow his principles of peace.
The former governor spoke in a video while condemning the attack on some members of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, during a gathering in Kaduna.
There was pandemonium on Saturday during the inauguration of a transition committee formed by opposition parties in Kaduna State.
Thugs had disrupted the inauguration while attacking participants and damaging property.
The thugs, armed with cutlasses, clubs, and stones, were said to have attacked, leaving several people injured and vehicles destroyed.
However, El-Rufai said: “We don’t stop people from enjoying their freedom, but unfortunately, my godson, Governor Uba Sani, whom I thought had been following my principles of peace, is the one sponsoring this kind of terrorism.”
