Eid el-Kabir: Katsina declares seven-day holiday for schools

The Katsina State government, through the Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education, has officially announced a seven-day public holiday for students in celebration of the 2025 Eid al-Kabir Sallah festivities.

In a statement released on Tuesday and signed by the Ministry’s Director of Schools, Kabir Dodo, it was noted that all schools will be closed for the holiday starting Wednesday, June 4th, 2025, and will resume on Wednesday, June 11th, 2025.

The directive applies to all public, private, and community schools throughout the state. The statement concluded with wishes for a joyful Sallah celebration for all.
