Education Minister, Senator Sadiq Umar, Oloriegbe, others set to attend the grand finale of Dele Shittu Foundation’s oratory contest
The grand finale of the Dele Shittu Foundation oratory competition is scheduled for tomorrow, May 26, 2024, at the Kwara State Banquet Hall.
According to the statement made available to The Informant247, the event is expected to feature Senator Sadiq Umar (Kwara North), Senator Yahaya Oloriegbe (former Kwara Central Senator), Hon. Yusuf T. Sununu (Minister of State for Education), Hon. Yinka Aluko (Ilorin East/South Federal Representative), Hajia Sa’adatu Modibbo Kawu (Kwara Commissioner for Education and Human Capital Development), Ahmed Lawal (CEO of Hair Sense), amongst other notable dignitaries.
The program, partnered with the Kwara State Ministry of Education, will begin at 10 AM, Nigerian time.
The contest, which has seen participation from 60 schools across the state, aims to promote educational excellence and celebrate Children’s Day.
The event also promised to celebrate the students’ intellectual prowess and critical thinking abilities and the Dele Shittu Foundation’s commitment to promoting educational excellence in Kwara State.
