Ede Poly Alumni swears in first female president
The Federal Polytechnic Ede Alumni Association, FPEAA on Saturday April 1, 2023 swore in Mrs Balogun Adedoyin as its first female president.
The swearing-in of the new executive leadership of the organization took place at the S.O. Babalola Hall of the school’s North campus.
The Informant247 learned that Mrs Balogun was the vice president (female) in the last administration and was sworn in as the new president of the school’s alumni association.
Balogun made history yesterday as she would be the first vice president (female) to succeed a president, and the first female to become president of the association.
While speaking at the swearing-in event, which was attended by members and electronically transmitted via zoom, Balogun promised that the administration would develop the height of the association and the only federal polytechnic in Osun State.
She on behalf of the newly sworn in executive members promised to build on the legacy and achievements of the immediate past executive leadership of the association.
She promised to foster unity of the association and serve the interest of the members of the association.
She added that her administration would prioritize the welfare of members, be an asset to the institution and add value to humanity.
