DSS invades terrorists’ negotiator, Tukur Mamu’s residence

The residence of Tukur Mamu, the arrested terrorists’ negotiator for the Abuja-Kaduna train attack, has been stormed by the men of the Department of State Services (DSS) in the early hours of Thursday.

The residence of the bandits’ negotiator received the operatives that came in about 20 vehicles.

According to Daily Trust report, “They ransacked the house and carted away documents, phones and laptops. Those in the house were ordered to sign a document, before the officers took it back.”

A source told newsmen that the operatives of the DSS took some documents, phones and laptops during a security search on Mamu’s house.

A resident revealed that, “done with his house, the operatives also went to his office located in Kaduna.”

Report has it that Mamu was apprehended over his alleged involvement in collecting ransom and taking same to terrorists in exchange for the kidnapped victims.

Peter Afunanya, the spokesperson of the DSS, earlier on Wednesday, revealed that Mamu was apprehended at Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport in Kano, Wednesday afternoon.

The bandits’ negotiator was first apprehended in Egypt, detained for 24 hours before he was taken back to Nigeria.

The aircraft that conveyed Tukur Mamu and members of his family, reached Kano around 1:55pm, he was immediately arrested by the DSS.
