DSS clamps down on Mamu’s allies, arrests father-in-law
The Department of State Services (DSS) has continued to keep in its custody associates, and father in law of the embattled bandits’ negotiator, Tukur Mamu.
DSS has arrested his father-in-law, Abdullahi Mashi, Thursday night.
It was gathered that the men of the secrete police also invaded the residence of Mamu’s brother-in-law, Ibrahim Tinja, who was apprehended and deported with the bandits’ negotiator on Wednesday.
Mamu and four of his family members were apprehended at the Malam Aminu Kano International Airport on Wednesday.
This came following their deportation from Egypt on the order of the Nigeria’s intelligence agencies.
The bandits negotiator was reported to have being on a journey to Saudi Arabia for lesser hajj alongside his two wives, his eldest son, Faisal Mamu and brother-in-law, Ibrahim Tinja.
Report has it that while the wives of Mamu have regained their freedom, the suspect, his son and brother-in-law are still in custody.
