APC Chieftain and philanthropist, Dr.Toba Oloyede has been installed as the Aare Otunba of Isin Land at a ceremony held at Isanlu Isin, Kwara State, on Friday, 30th December 2022.
The title conferred on the renowned business mogul by Oba Solomon Olugbenga Oloyede, the Olusin of Isanlu Isin, is a testimony to his wide acceptance by the people of Isin and recognition of his humanitarian activities.
Speaking at the event, the Olusin described Dr Toba as a peace-loving and unique son of Isin Land whom he has known since childhood.
Olusin appreciated Dr Toba for his giant strides in ensuring the development of Isin and welfare packages to the people of Isin at all times and also described him as a shining star in Isin.
In his acceptance speech, Dr Toba appreciated the King, chiefs and people of Isin who have deemed him worthy of a title in his native land. He promised continued contributions to Isin to drive development and promote the land’s culture.
Also, at the event, Distinguished Senator Lola Ashiru was conferred with the title Aare Gbadero of Isin Land in recognition of his developmental projects directed at Isin and its environs.
The event also witnessed fundraising for the Ajokogun Multipurpose Hall, which is projected to be the first of its kind in Isin and its environs. As a show of support, Dr Toba donated half a million naira and promised further financial assistance to ensure the successful completion of the project.
