Dr. Olohungbebe hails teachers’ dedication, unveils academic calendar for new term in Kwara
The Kwara State Commissioner for Education, Dr. Lawal Olohungbebe, has commended teachers and educational staff across the state for their dedication as schools resume for the third term of the 2024/2025 academic session.
In a statement issued on Sunday, Dr. Olohungbebe described teachers as “critical stakeholders” in the state’s education sector, praising their selfless service and commitment to nurturing future leaders.
He reaffirmed the government’s readiness to ensure a smooth resumption of academic activities, announcing that the approved academic calendar for both public and private schools has been released.
“We appreciate the commitment of our teachers, staff, and partners, including proprietors of private schools. We are confident they will continue to give their best as we nurture our children for a brighter future,” the Commissioner stated.
Dr. Olohungbebe further urged all teachers to adhere strictly to the academic calendar and comply with existing educational guidelines set by the ministry, assuring that the administration of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq remains focused on delivering transformative reforms in the education sector.
