Despite Purported News of His disqualification, Mallam Saliu Mustapha Maintains Tight Lead over the Oil Magnate, Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq – Ishowo

Contrary to rumour on a radio station that Mallam Saliu Mustapha has been disqualified, checks by this medium indicate that he is leading all aspirants with slight margin over Two major contestants, Rahman Razaq and Professor Oba Abdulraheem.

Reacting to the development, Director of Strategy at the Saliu Mustapha Campaign Organization, Yaqub Ishowo expressed gratitude to the teeming members of the APC across the state who have shown confidence in the former Deputy Nat’l Chairman of the defunct CPC.

He explained that the purported disqualification was the handiwork of paid elements at the national office who are pushing for the emergence of an unpopular candidate.

Ishowo said “..after several attempts to persuade Mallam Saliu to withdraw from the race for an unpopular aspirant, they had to descend so low to the level of even using a national officer to tell the media a false story just to change the game while the primaries was ongoing. We felt bad but Alhamdulilah despite their dirty politics, we are still maintaining the lead, that shows acceptability and strength.

He however urged members of the party in the state to be vigilant as attempts are still ongoing by these elements to subvert the will of the majority, adding that Mr President will have to intervene if authentic results are not declared.
