Kebbi State, Nigeria – A dispute over a debt of N485,000 has taken a tragic turn as Aminu Bello has been arrested by the Kebbi State Police for allegedly killing his creditor, Abdulmajid Nasiru.
The incident has left the community in shock and highlighted the dangerous consequences of financial disputes.
Commissioner of Police, Samuel Titus Musa, addressed the media during a press briefing, shedding light on the events that led to the tragic outcome.
“Nasiru, a resident of the Almasira area in Jega, Kebbi State, had approached Bello to collect the outstanding debt of N485,000. Instead of resolving the matter through negotiation, Bello reportedly lured Nasiru into a nearby bush and attacked him, ultimately causing his death.”
