Coutinho Transfer: Salary, purchase option, undersides transaction revealed
The Informant247 learnt, Aston Villa put a lot of money into FC Barcelona attacking midfielder, Philippe Coutinho transaction.
FC Barcelona and Aston Villa formalized this Friday the loan of attacking midfielder Philippe Coutinho (29 years old, 16 appearances and 2 goals in all competitions this season) in England. A loan with a purchase option, the amount of which was not communicated by the two clubs.
The Informant247 gathered a little about the details of the transfer. The Catalan media Sport claims that this purchase option amounts to 40 million euros.
As a reminder, Barça had spent € 135m (excluding bonus) to snatch the Brazilian from Liverpool in January 2018.
According to the various sources, the Villans will pay 50 to 65% of Coutinho’s salary, which is estimated at € 16 million annual.
