Court sentences kidnap lord, Evans to 21 years imprisonment
A kidnap lord, Chukwudumeme Onwuamadike, also referred to as Evans, and his co-defendant, Victor Aduba, were sentenced to 21 years imprisonment on Monday.
The Ikeja Special Offences Court in Lagos State passed the judgement.
There were accusations of conspiracy and kidnapping against the two convicts.
They were accused of conspiring and kidnapping Sylvanus Ahanonu Hafia on June 23, 2014, at Kara Street, Amuwo Odofin in Lagos.
The Informant247 learnt that Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo passed the judgment.
They have been alleged to have caught and detained Hafia and requested a ransom of $2m.
