The Presidential Election Petition Court (PEPC) has granted a request by the presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar; the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, LP, Peter Obi and Allied Peoples Movement (APM) over permission to serve their petitions on the president elect, Senator Bola Tinubu, his running mate, Kashim Shettima and Kabir Masari through the All Progressives Congress, APC.
Justice Haruna Tsammani-led three-member panel granted the request on Friday March 24, in three rulings on the three ex-parte motions filed by Atiku and PDP; Obi and LP; and APM.
Representing Atiku and the PDP, Eyitayo Jegede (SAN) requested to serve petition on Tinubu through his party, APC.
Representing Obi and the LP, Ikechukwu Ezechukwu (SAN) requested to serve petition on Tinubu and his running mate, Shettima through their party, APC.
Representing APM, Oyetola Atoyebi (SAN) (SAN) requested to serve petition on Tinubu, Shettima and Masari through party, APC.
