Count on us, we won’t disappoint – Remi Tinubu

Senator Remi Tinubu, the wife of the APC presidential candidate Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, has promised to whip her husband into line should he “derail” after becoming the president.

Remi Tinubu, who made the promise on Tuesday at the grand finale of the APC presidential campaign rally at the Teslim Balogun stadium, said that the APC presidential flagbearer will not disappoint the people that votes him as president.

She said: “We will not disappoint you. Asiwaju will not derail after becoming president. You can count on me to bring him back to line should he derail.”

“We are now at a critical stage of our campaign. This is our grand finale. God is still faithful. Asiwaju can only become our next president if you go out and vote for him on Saturday,” she appealed to APC members and supporters at the stadium.

“You know we have been consistent for the past 23 years, and we are not going to disappoint you. Asiwaju is not running because there is an opportunity for power. He is running because he sees a need he wants to meet,” Mrs Tinubu added.
