Corps members to start receiving N77k soon – NYSC DG
Brigadier General Yushau Ahmed, the Director General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), has disclosed that corps members would soon start receiving an increased monthly allowance of N77,000.
Ahmed, while speaking in Abuja during the commissioning of a staff bus donated by Capital Express Insurance Company, said the arrangements for the increased allowance have been finalised.
The DG also emphasised his commitment to the welfare and security of corps members, assuring them that by 2025, they will receive all the benefits they deserve.

Ahmed was quoted to have made the statement in a report published by Daily Trust on Tuesday.
NYSC members have been receiving N33,000 monthly despite President Bola Tinubu signing the new national minimum wage bill into law in July 2024.
The newly commissioned bus, donated by Capital Express Insurance Company, aims to address transportation challenges faced by NYSC staff.
