Content creator arrested for allegedly abusing naira notes
Operatives of the Kaduna Zonal Directorate of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have apprehended social media content creator Muhammed Kabir Sa’ad for allegedly mishandling Naira notes.
In a controversial video posted on his TikTok and Instagram accounts, Sa’ad was seen tossing Naira notes onto the ground and intentionally stepping on them, challenging EFCC officers in Hausa to arrest him if they could.
Following a thorough surveillance operation, he was arrested in the Tudun Wada area of Kaduna State and taken to the Kaduna Zonal Directorate of the Commission for questioning.
Authorities have confirmed that he will be charged in court once the interrogation process is complete.
