Commission begins capacity building for 10,000 persons of concern
The National Commission for Refugees, Migrants, and Internally Displaced Persons (NCFRMI) has begun developing capacity for 10,000 people of concern.
The Federal Commissioner of NCFRMI, Hajiya Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim, stated at the start of the training that it was a dream come true.
“We are dedicated to assist those in distress in developing resilience and coping mechanisms.”
“We invited roughly 200 of you here as the first batch of 10,000 to assist strengthen your ICT skills in the NCFRMI Skill-Up Program.”
“This will benefit you because increasing your learning increases your earning potential.” I want you to make the most of this chance.
“This initiative is consistent with President Buhari’s ambition of pulling 100 million Nigerians out of poverty in ten years,” Sulaiman-Ibrahim added.
Malam Inuwa-Kashifu Abdullahi, Director-General of the National Information Technology and Development Agency (NITDA), urged attendees to focus and learn.
He stated that after the four days of instruction, they will be able to work for themselves as well as hire others.
