Chelsea makes third movement, signs Ben Chilwell for £50m

Chelsea’s signing of Ben Chiwel from leicester City has been completed for £50m. The defender joins Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner in Stamford Bridge

The 23-year-old who has been on the Blues’ radar all through the season penned a five-year deal with the London club.

He will join early arrivals Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner at the club and will earn up to £190,000-per-week if he passes medical.

Chelsea’s coach, Frank Lampard also plans on bringing Kai Havertz and a goalkeeper for the start of the new season.

Frank has now spent around £136m in signing players after his first season as a Premier League manager.
