Channel your energy towards constructive activities, not protests, Kwara APC tells youth
The All Progressives Congress, APC, in Kwara State has urged Kwara youths to focus on education, empowerment, and positive engagement in the development of the state.
In a statement made available to journalists in Ilorin on Tuesday, the State Chairman of the APC, Prince Sunday Fagbemi, urged the youths to channel their energy and passion towards constructive activities that will benefit the future of the state and its people.
The APC lauds Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for his commendable efforts in improving the state and urged those inclined to protest to focus on their home states where conditions may be less favorable.
“Kwara and Kwarans have never had it so good under any government than we’re having under our exceptional and quintessential Governor H.E AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq,” Fagbemi stated.
They passionately appealed to Kwarans, particularly the youth, to avoid the politically motivated nationwide protest organized by those who lost in the last general elections.
The party advised residents against participating in the forthcoming protest, labeling it as a counterproductive move that will not benefit anyone.
“Non-Kwara residents wishing to protest should return to their states of origin where conditions might be less favorable. He emphasized the importance of Kwara’s youth not being used as tools for individuals with self-serving agendas.
“By participating in politically motivated protests, they risk being manipulated and drawn into conflicts that may not serve the best interests of the state. It is crucial for the youth to focus on education, empowerment, and positive engagement in the development of Kwara,” the statement added.
