Channel movies towards changing young Nigerian’s mindset from vices, Gov AbdulRazaq charges theatre arts practitioners

The Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has urged theatre art practitioners to always channel their movies towards changing the mindset of the Nigerian youths from anti-social activities.

Governor AbdulRazaq, who was represented by his Deputy Mr. Kayode Alabi stated this Monday when he received officials of Nigerian Theatre Art Practitioners, ANTP led by its president, Mr. Adewale Elesho.

He said his administration has put the necessary measures in place to promote theatre arts in the state.

He added that when the Ilorin Innovation Hub and Visual Arts Center are completed, the association would benefit immensely from the project. He said it will also create jobs for the youths, promote creativity and sustain growth.

He furthered that the centre is a purpose-built cultural museum of visual and cinematic arts, with post-production studio facilities, galleries, and screening space, among others.
