Casemiro severs 10-year relationship with Real Madrid

Manchester United has announced the signing of Real Madrid Midfielder, Casemiro in an initial deal worth €60m with €10m add-ons.
According to statement from the club, “the transfer is subject to the agreement of personal terms, UK visa requirements and a medical”.
Casemiro has played over 500 professional games, including 63 at international level for his native Brazil. He has won 17 major honours in his illustrious career including five Champions League titles and the Copa America.
The 30-year old moved to Real Madrid in 2013 and also spent a season on loan at Porto between 2014 and 2015. He was part of the Real Madrid squad that won four Champions League titles in five seasons, from 2014 to 2018.
In total he has won fifteen major trophies at Real Madrid, including five UEFA Champions Leagues, three La Liga titles, one Copa del Rey and three FIFA Club World Cups.
He is expected to bring his wealth of experience to the struggling Manchester United especially the need to enrich the midfield with a stability.
