CAILS provost denies tuition fee increase

The Provost of the College of Arabic and Islamic Legal Studies, Dr Olokoba Abdullahi Ayinla, has said it is untrue that the Institution has increased the tuition fees.

Social media reports had stated that the Institution had increased its tuition fees from N37,000 to N53,000.

But a release signed by the institution’s provost, on Tuesday, states that the allegations “are spurious, baseless and a deliberate attempt by the mischief makers to dent the reputable image of the College”.

The statement further reiterate that students of Diploma in Arabic and Islamic Studies pay N31,000 while other Diploma students pay N41,600 for returning students and N49,600 for new students.
