Cabinet reshuffle: Bauchi Gov recalls three sacked commissioners
The Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, has recalled three of his five sacked commissioners into his cabinet
The Informant247 reports that the governor on Monday fired five commissioners in a cabinet reshuffle.
According to a press release issued to journalists on Tuesday by the Special Adviser, Media and Publicity to the Governor, Mukhtar Gidado, the reshuffling is to reinvigorate governance and ensure optimal service delivery to the people of the State.
However, the governor has announced the reappointment of three sacked commissioners as his special advisers.
The governor also appointed Isa Tilde, Abdullahi Mohammed, Bala Lukshi, Usman Shehu, Iliyasu Gital, Titus Ketkukah, Adamu Gabarin, and Mohammed Lawal as replacements for the fired commissioners.

A statement on Tuesday by Mukhtar Gidado, the governor’s media aide, said the appointees were asked to bring their wealth of experience and expertise in their respective fields to government, adding that the governor charged them to discharge their responsibilities with diligence, transparency, and a renewed focus to improve the lives of the people of Bauchi.
The newly appointed aides include Abubakar Bununu, ex-commissioner for internal security and home affairs, as special adviser on multilateral coordination and regional integration.
Others are Usman Danturaki, a special adviser on labour matters and contributory pension scheme, and Simon Yalams, as special adviser on technical and vocational education.
