The Special Adviser to the President on Social Investment, Mrs Maryam Uwais (MFR) and the Chairman Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM) Mrs Abike Dabiri Erewa have been scheduled to speak on leadership with mentees of the second cohort of the Bolaji Abdullahi Mentorship programme.
The Programme coordinator, Seun Awogbenle, disclosed this on Friday in Lagos.
He pointed out that Uwais is expected to facilitate a session on the principles of leadership on Tuesday, April 27, while Hon. Abike Dabiri Erewa will take the mentees on practical lessons on leadership on Sunday, May 2.
Awogbenle said that during the session, mentees are expected to learn vital and practical lessons on leadership.
He furthered, “Mrs Uwais and Mrs Dabiri-Erewa have both distinguished themselves in public and private sector leadership. This is evident in their visible record of excellence and the strategic position they presently hold in Nigeria’s presidency.
“They have both remained a symbol of hope and inspiration to many young people, particularly young women, they have also demonstrated by their record that leadership is about service, capacity and clarity of purpose.”
The Mentorship programme which is a 6-month Mentorship programme is organized and structured platform for young people to learn, engage and share from the knowledge, experience of Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi and other notable Nigerians who share his belief that development thrust must be anchored on young people like the driver and architect.
