President Muhammadu Buhari has celebrated the former National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Adams Oshiomhole on his 71st birthday.
The congratulatory wishes were revealed in a statement released by presidential media aide, Mr. Femi Adesina on Tuesday April 4.
Buhari hailed the former Governor of Edo State for his courage in standing for reforms and struggle for the improvement in people’s welfare.
He felicitated the newly elected Senator for being dedicated to development and democracy.
The president reminisced the dedication of Oshiomhole as the president of the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) for eight years.
He felicitated him on his emergence as a Senator commending him for showing interest in governance after long years of activism and labour unionism.
The Nigerian leader said Nigerians owe the former labour union leader a debt of gratitude for always calling him to resolve worker’s crisis in the country.
The president sent his prayers and wishes to Oshiomhole and his family.
