Buhari is a soldier, he doesn’t understand politics says Governor Bala Mohammed
Governor of Bauchi state and the presidential aspirant of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Senator Bala Mohammed, has said that President Muhammadu Buhari does not understand politics.
While interacting with delegates and party leaders in Katsina state, on Sunday, the governor said Buhari has betrayed the expectation of the people because he surrounded himself with insincere people.
“The people of Katsina state have done great things for the development of this country, an example is what late President Umaru Musa Yar’adua has done for Nigeria, May Allah repose his soul.”
“But unfortunately, your son, our father, the current president, is surrounded by dishonest people, liars whom he thought are people of integrity, because he is a soldier, he doesn’t know people or politics.
“We know everybody, both good and bad ones, we must correct that bad impression that we are all bad people, we must secure the future for our children and grandchildren, and we need dogged people like me,” he said.
Mohammed said he deserves the opportunity to put into practice the wide experiences he has gained in journalism, civil service, politics and administration of the FCT ministry for years, to put the country back to shape.
He said he would address issues of poverty, hunger, security and safeguard dignity of the people within and outside the country.
“This issue of banditry has become like a plot that even the armed forces have become insignificant in the fight, they are not given the needed equipment to face the enemy. We must elect people that can salvage the situation,” he added.
