Buhari condemns killing of Eze Ignitus Asor, others, orders police to start investigation
President Muhammadu Buhari has frowned at the killing of Eze Ignitus Asor, the traditional monarch of the Obudi-Agwa community in Oguta Local Government Area of Imo and other persons.
The presidential media aide, Malam Garba Shehu made this revelation in a statement released on Tuesday in Abuja, the nation’s capital.
The president has ordered security architect personnel in the State to commence thorough investigation into the unfortunate act.
He also implored them to make sure that those who carried out the killings do not go unpunished.
While sympathizing with family, relations, the affected community, and the affected persons, the President wished the injured them quick recovery.
The Nigerian leader has acknowledged the efforts and contributions made by the Imo Government targeted at improving the security architecture of the state.
He therefore motivated all Imo residents and citizens to back the efforts of state stakeholders and members of the local community to maintain safety and security.
