The presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi has won the presidential election in Lagos state.
Obi defeated Bola Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, after the votes were calculated from all the 20 LGAs in the state.
Although with a slim lead, Obi polled 582, 354 to beat Tinubu, a former Lagos governor who notched 572, 606 votes.
PDP’S Abubakar Atiku was third after scoring 75, 750 while NNPP candidate garnered 8,442 to become the fourth in the final results.
