Breaking: Senate begins confirmation of ministerial nominees
The Nigerian senate is currently confirming of the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s ministerial nominees
It was learned that the senate concluded the screening of the 48 nominees on Monday afternoon.
Meanwhile, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo (Ondo) and Nyesom Wike (Rivers) are among those whose nomination has been approved.
The Informant247 had on July 27, reported that President Tinubu sent the list of nominees made up of 28 persons to the senate for screening and confirmation.
Six days later, the president forwarded additional 19 names to make the total number of ministerial nominees 47.
