Breaking: Over 30 people killed in Gunmen attack in Sokoto

At least 30 people were killed as gunmen attacked a village market in Sokoto State, the State Authority disclosed on Monday.

Attack by bandits have become more brutal in recent times especially in the northwest and central Nigeria

The spokesperson to the Sokoto government, Muhammad Bello disclosed to AFP that the attack occurred on Sunday evening in Goronyo district.

He said, “We’re not sure of the (death toll) figure. But it is 30 something,”
