BREAKING: Akaje withdraws from state assembly race

The former Commissioner for Housing and Urban Development and one of the state assembly aspirants, Honourable Ibrahim Akaje, has stepped down from the contest.
He appreciated Engineer Tunde Kannike who has earlier stepped down from the race for him, The Informant247 gathered.
Meanwhile, the national headquarters of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) has appointed him as the chairman of the Lagos State Governorship primary election Appeal Committee.
The party appointed Hon Akaje based on his excellent conciliatory approach, deployed during his previous assignment in Lagos as Chairman of wards and local government appeal committee.
