The Convener of Kwara Youth Center, Kayode Oyin-Zubair has filed a fomal complaint against one of his critics, Gboyega Alabi – a former aide to the former Governor of Kwara State, Alh. Ahmed Abdulfatai – for character assassination.
The former Special Advicer on Security will be facing a legal suit on Tuesday over alleged defamatory posts made about Kayode Oyin-Zubair over an alleged borehole contract.
The emergence of post tagged ‘Kayode Oyin-Zubair in Borehole Repair Scam’ which Mr Alabi shared on a popular WhatsApp medium, Kwara Tabloid led to wildspread outrage last week.
The post read, “No way for thief in APC
KAYODE OYIN-ZUBAIR IN BOREHOLE REPAIR SCAM
Our friend Kayode Oyin-Zubair has landed himself into trouble again. We have been informed yesterday that he did ‘gbajue’ for AA by forwarding a proposal for the repair of over 400 boreholes at the cost of N16m across the state. Only for the reknown scammer and thrash collector to do less than 200 in all. We also understand that he has just acquired a Jeep for his personal use from his proceeds of crime. The deal was said to have been discovered in Baruten, where the independent people monitoring the job reported to the Speaker of the KWHA. So the House of assembly we understand, are already in the know.
Kayode Oyun-Zubair the scammer and falsehood specialist has started showing his true colours.
OTOGE!!!!!”
Mr Kayode disclosed to theinformant247 that he resorted to legal action in order to redeem his battered reputation as he is not in the know of the alleged borehole contract.
When contacted by theinformant247 to verify the veracity of the lawsuit instituted by the complainant, Mr Gboyega Alabi however attested to having been summoned with a court order.
