Boko Haram slaughters 40 farmers in Borno
40 civilians have lost their lives to the cruelty and violence of Boko Haram men in Kala Balge Local Government Area of Borno State.
It was gathered that the harmless civilians were surrounded by a great number of insurgents and got slaughtered on Sunday.
The incident was confirmed by the federal legislator representing the area, Hon. Zainab Gimba.
Zagazola Makama, a Counter Insurgency Expert and Security Analyst in Lake Chad, was of the claim that dozens of the insurgents launched an attack on the peasant farmers with machetes.
“Over 40 farmers were killed and some of the bodies were dismembered while some were tied up and their throats slit by the terrorists.
“The victims were buried on Monday with residents saying many others are yet to be accounted for,” Zagazola said.
