Birthday: Davido promises N300m donation to orphanage in Nigeria
David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, a Nigerian superstar, has announced that in commemoration of his birthday, he is donating a sum of ₦300 million to orphanages and a charity dedicated to combating drug abuse and addiction among young people.
The Grammy nominee made this known via his official X handle on Monday.
According to him, “Once again, my birthday this year, we are donating to orphanages and a charity that helps young people stay away from drug abuse and addiction. This year, it’s ₦300m. Details to follow soon.”
This is not the first time a billionaire son would be doing this to give back to society during his birthday celebrations.
In February, Davido announced a ₦300 million donation to orphanages across the country.
