Bandits attack Police camp in Niger, kill 3 officers
No fewer than 3 officers were killed after bandits invaded the Mobile Police Camp at Ishau, Paikoro Local Government Area of Niger State, killing
The bandits were said to be passing through the area when they came in contact with a team of mobile policemen, according to a report by Daily Trust Newspaper.
The report quoted residents as saying that the terrorists were exiting Niger to Kaduna when they launched the attack on border communities.
The Niger State Police Authorities could not be reached for comment as Wasiu Abiodun, spokesman of the command, was out of reach at the time of filing this report.
