Bandits arrest suspected thief, hand him over to security personnel in Katsina

Bandits have ‘arrested’ a scavenger who was found with stolen items in a village, in Katsina State.

The middle-aged man is allegedly specialized in pulling out metal rods and withdrawing iron bars from deserted buildings.

The bandits have revealed how they arrested the suspected thief while they were on a ‘patrol’ of the area on their motorcycles.

According to a video from PRNigeria, the bandits paraded the suspected scavenger and his loot packed inside a cart before a community leader.

The group, who were armed with different firearms, further gave lecture to the suspected thief about the dangers of stealing.

“Don’t you know that it is an offence to steal? You’re lucky we are handing you over to the authority

“We could have executed you for engaging in a criminal activity”, they added.

The terrorists have handed over the suspect to a leader of the community and admonished him to make sure his punishment is achieved.

They also reportedly accompanied the chief and ensure that the suspect was transferred to the security personnel.
