Aspirant secures two votes in primary, asks delegates to return his money

Adam Namadi, an aspirant of the House of Representatives in Kaduna North Federal Constituency has reportedly told delegates to refund the money, he gave them before the election.

The People’s Democratic Party, PDP aspirant has secured just two votes in the just concluded primary election of the party.

The son of the former vice president, had earlier promised to add N1.5 million to the money given to the delegates.

The aspirant secured the least votes among the three contenders.

The incumbent representative of the constituency, Samaila Suleiman, defeated the two other contenders, Namadi and Shehu Usman.

It was gathered that Suleiman had given between N3.5m and N4m to each delegate, ABG gave out N2.5m in cash and Namadi, N2m.

Following the defeat, both ABG and Namadi demanded an immediate refund of the money they gave delegates.
