Amid disagreement, Soludo, Peter Obi meet, exchange pleasantry in Awka

The Governor of Anambra State, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo and the Presidential flagbearer of the Labour Party, LP, Peter Obi on Thursday (today) met in Awka, the capital of the state.

The two political actors who are from the state, met at St Patrick Cathedral, Awka during the Thanksgiving mass of Most Rev. Bishop Ezeokafor’s 70th birthday.

The incumbent Governor and the former Governor of the State could be sighted embracing and exchanging pleasantry with each other.

The Informant247 recalls that Governor Soludo had earlier raised allegations that the financial investment of Obi in the state government is nothing to write home about.

The Governor made this revelation in a television interview last Thursday.

Soludo said, “I don’t know about the investment.”

“Our interview is about the 2023 budget. I’m not talking about investments of any of my predecessors. By the way the one that you talked about I don’t know about that. I think there was something I read about somebody speculating about whatever investment. With what I’ve seen today, the value of those investments is worth next to nothing. So, let’s leave that aside,” he said.
