All police officers in Ajah Division have been transferred — Lagos police
The police Command in Lagos State has said that all police officers attached to the Ajah police station have been moved out of the division.
This came as a reaction to a claim by a news medium (not The Informant247) that Ajah police officers were sighted consuming while they were supposed to be on duties.
While appreciating the news organization for the sense of alertness, the spokesperson of the police Command, Benjamin Hundeyin implored citizens to continue to report any unethical behaviour of the police officers so as to effect an improvement of the police force in the State.
He made this revelation in a series of tweets on Monday.
“I can confirm that this publication has been overtaken by events. The new DPO Ajah, CSP Adolf Ogwu, had earlier in the week dismantled all the shanties around the police station.
“While appreciating @MobilePunch for the exposé, we encourage more Lagos residents to, as usual, say something whenever they see something, as this would translate to a better policing experience for all. Remember, security is everyone’s business,” he tweeted.
