Again, another Kwara South group threatens to recall Lola Ashiru
Another Kwara South group, Ifelodun Youth Vanguard, has threatened to begin a process of recalling Senator Lola Ashiru, representing the constituency in the Senate.
The group in a statement issued by its chairman, Adebayo Lawal, on Tuesday, accused the Senator of neglecting his constituents as well as having no plans for the district.
They lamented that Ashiru has continued to shy away from his constitutional responsibilities.

SENATOR LOLA ASHIRU SHOULD BE RECALL IMMEDIATELY
The Ifelodun Youth Vanguard is a Social Cultural Youth group established to be an eagle eye on our communities and constituency, we are group that crave for the yearnings of our community welfare. We wish to lend our voice on the trending issue on the Senator Representing Kwara South constituency, Sen. Lola Ashiru.
We are to state that Senator Lola Ashiru should be recalled Immediately due to the following reasons;
Non Functional/Nominal constituency Office
No stewardship on the journey so far in the house
Appointment non constituents as aides.
Inaccessible representation
Resurgently, we are an independent youth organization and so far we have made our evaluative findings before arriving on the above resolution which listed as follow;
We have seen that most of the projects Senator Lola Ashiru claimed to have executed are done by the previous administration. Such as constructions of new class rooms in Kanmonu Alayi/Mango maselu in shawo south/west offa local government. Construction of Agro Forestry training Hall located at Ijagbo Oyun local government. Those ware done by Sen. Rafiu Ibrahim.
The senator has not shown care to his people for palliative during the COVID19 lockdown despite the huge amount allocated to him and others in the National Assembly to cession the effects of the pandemic, he only touched a migr out of funds. 60bags of Rice, 60bags of Bean’s and 60bags of Gari are the palliatives given to a local government with a population of about 1,830 to cater for more than two month.
His constituency allowance which is originally meant to argument constituency projects has not been accounted for in the past one year and some months.
SLO and LO appointees are not strength enough to channels facilitations of the Senator.
Ordinarily, it is expected that any allegations which are false against the Senator should have a rejoinder and their should be a reasonable counter allegations, instead of coming on the social media and charming credit of the past projects and achievement of the immediate past Sen. Rafiu Ibrahim of same constituency.
Lastly, the general public, particularly the people of Kwara South should be informed that the Senator have abandoned his responsibilities at the Red floor, So we hereby call for his immediate Recall and we are also inform the Kwara South Youth Assembly that we are solidly behind the struggle.
