AFCON: Super Eagles to leave for Cameroon Wednesday
The Super Eagles will be traveling to Garoua, Cameroon on Wednesday to participate in the 33rd Nations Cup.
With 23 players already in camp, more five players are currently being expected to join the team latest Tuesday as they depart through Air Peace, the official flight partner of the team.
The team has held a number of training sessions at the Moshood Abioal National Stadium in Abuja, most of them in the full glare of the media.
The three-time African champions will open their 2021 AFCON campaign next Tuesday against seven-time champions Egypt.
Sudan and Guinea Bissau are the other teams in Group D as Coach Austin Eguavoen set to tinker with the team after being apparently ‘untimely’ drafted to head the team.
