Adamu absent as Kyari presides over APC NWC meeting in Abuja

Nze Chidi Duru, the deputy National Organising Secretary of the All Progressives Congress, APC, has confirmed the resignation of Abdullahi Adamu, the embattled National Chairman of the party

The confirmation came as the meeting of the National Working Committee, NWC, got underway at the Buhari House national secretariat of the party.

At the meeting presided over by Senator Abubakar Kyari, the deputy National Chairman, North, the National Secretary of the party, Senator Iyiola Omisore, was reportedly barred from entering, while his parking lot was also taken over by his deputy.

Omisore, who left the secretariat as soon as he came in, said he was going to meet Adamu, while adding that he did not know the reason for Adamu’s absent at the secretariat.

Duru also said the NWC members were expecting Omisore to resign.
