Accident kills 3 passengers, injures others on Maiduguri-Damaturu highway
Three passengers lost their lives and others sustained injuries, on Friday in a road accident which occurred along the Maiduguri-Damaturu highway.
A source revealed that the accident, happened on Friday morning, a few kilometres from Benisheik town in the Kaga Local Government Area of Borno State.
The source narrated that a Borno Express vehicle having BAM 249 XA as registration number and which was conveying passengers from Maiduguri to Kano had accident.
The source said: “Two women and one man lost their lives; others got injured. The injured were rushed to a hospital close by in Benisheik.”
The Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Utten Iki Boyi, could not be communicated as he did not answer his calls to comment on the accident.
