AbdulRazaq is an ingrate: Statement self-serving – Ex-APC aspirants

Some ex-All Progressive Congress aspirants for the Kwara State House of Assembly in the last general elections have distanced themselves from a statement credited to a faction which alleged the governor of being an ingrate and running family government.

Barr. Senior Ibrahim Sulyman who contested for the Magaji-Ngeri state constituency spoke to THE INFORMANT247 through telephone chat — on behalf of two other aspirants; Comrade AbdulGaniyu Erubu and Comrade Omotosho Toyib Abdulganiyu.

Senior said the statement is purposely meant to satisfy the interests of some aspirants and not all.

He stated that the aspirants’ forum ceased to exist the day party flagbearers emerged.

“So for all intents and purposes, there is nothing like aspirants forum. Therefore, it is unfortunate that the name of Kwara State APC Ex_House of Assembly Aspirant was merely used for a self-serving motive,” he said.

He added, “Some of us are in politics not necessarily to hold political position but for the betterment of the community. It is within the preoregative of the government to choose whoever it feels can serve its purpose of delivering the dividends of democracy. As for me, I can fault a government’s failure to deliver on electoral promises, but will never fault a government for not benefitting from political appointments.”
