Abductors kill Iseyin farmer, 3 others still in captivity in Oyo

One of the farmers kidnapped in Iseyin, Oyo State, on Saturday has been killed.

The Informant247 gathered that the farmer was killed on Monday evening.

The Informant247 recalls that the government of Oyo State had confirmed the kidnap of four farmers in Iseyin on Saturday.

The state government said it had mobilized some security operatives to the town to secure the freedom of the farmers.

The Informant247 learnt that the abductors had requested ransom as condition for the release of the victims before one of them was killed by the kidnappers.

The security agents have recovered the dead body of the yet-to-be-named farmer.

The remains of the deceased victim is in care of the security agents for identification and burial activities by his family.
