The Publisher of the renowned digital news platform, 9japarrot Digital Media and Communications, Saeed Tijjani (ANIPR), has been honored with the prestigious YODECO Digital Media Influencer of the Year award.
The event, which took place on Wednesday at the Kwara State Banquet Hall brought together the “crème de la crème” of Kwara’s political, professional, and media landscapes.

Who is Saeed Tijjani?
Saeed Tijjani, is a graduate of Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, and an Associate Member of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), emerged as the top choice following a competitive public voting process on the YODECO portal.
Known for his strategic thinking and progressive media approach, Saeed Tijjani has built 9japarrot into a powerhouse of online news, political analysis, and youth engagement.
His career spans digital journalism, media strategy, and public relations. He is also currently serving with the Corporate Affairs department of the National Institute for Cultural Orientation (NICO), North Central office.
Described by peers as a “change agent,” Saeed Tijjani’s influence extends beyond headlines. From his roots in the Oro Kingdom to his education in Zaria, he has consistently advocated for a human-faced media that supports community development and government transparency.
YODECO committee hails Tijani
The Chairman of YODECO, Engr. Abdulkadir Alausa while presenting the award emphasized that the initiative aims to sensitize young people on their civic duties while celebrating those who lead by example.
“By voting for you, the public deemed you fit for this honor. Your distinguished and immense contributions to the digital media space serve as a powerful inspiration to the youth,” Engr. Alausa said during the presentation.
The YODECO award committee noted that Tijjani was selected for his digital Journalism Innovation, building a respected platform that influences political awareness through credible reporting and opinion polls, utilizing digital spaces to inspire innovation and leadership among young Nigerians.
Tijjani was also hailed for his professional credibility in maintaining high standards as an Associate Member of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (ANIPR) and pursuing postgraduate studies in Journalism at the International Institute of Journalism (IIJ).
Earlier in his remarks while receiving the award, Saeed Tijjani expressed gratitude to the voters and the YODECO team, reaffirming his commitment to using 9japarrot as a vehicle for positive social change and a bridge between the government and the governed.
