85th Birthday: SAS hails Emir of Ilorin as symbol of unity, inspiration for young leaders

Global IT leader and Founder/Chairman of the SAS Foundation, Engr. Saleeman Adedoyin Saleeman (SAS), has celebrated the 85th birthday of the Emir of Ilorin and Chairman of the Kwara State Council of Chiefs, His Royal Highness Alhaji (Dr) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, CFR, describing him as “a living beacon of unity, wisdom, and a pillar of support for young leaders.”

In his congratulatory message, Engr. Saleeman applauded the Emir’s enduring legacy of peace-building, visionary leadership, and progressive commitment to the development of the Ilorin Emirate and Kwara State.

Reflecting on a recent encounter during the SAS Foundation Ramadan Outreach in Ilorin, Engr. Saleeman expressed deep appreciation for the Emir’s gracious reception and kind words, noting that the monarch’s support continues to inspire young change-makers to contribute meaningfully to society.

“The Emir has etched his name in gold through his statesmanlike leadership, humility, and generosity. His progressive mindset has made Ilorin a model of peace and harmony, and his encouragement of youth initiatives gives us the confidence to push further in building a better Kwara and Nigeria as a whole.”

He further praised the Emir for steering Ilorin through transformative milestones in governance, culture, and education—making the Emirate a reference point for excellence.

“I join the good people of Kwara State, especially sons and daughters of the Ilorin Emirate, in celebrating a father, a guide, and a symbol of unity. May Allah continue to bless him with good health and long life as he continues to lead with honour and inspire with purpose.”

He concluded with a heartfelt prayer: “May Almighty Allah continue to strengthen our beloved Emir with good health, long life, and divine wisdom as he continues to serve with passion and lead with honour.”
