5 dead as Kwara COVID-19 cases hit 186

The total number of coronavirus cases recorded in Kwara State has reached 186, THE INFORMANT247 reports.

This is as no fewer than 5 patients have died of coronavirus-related complications in the state.

The state currently has 59 active cases while 122 patients have recovered.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control said the state recorded 6 new COVID-19 cases on Saturday.

Meanwhile, the Kwara Government says it awaits results of 129 more samples taken to the centre for novel coronavirus test.
