Following days of multiple search and painstaking efforts, All the 41 construction workers who were trapped in a collapsed mountain tunnel for 17 days in northern India have been rescued.
The rescue crew had to drill through the debris of rock to reach the workers through a 90-centimetre (three-foot) wide steel pipe, in the Himalayan state of Uttarakhand.
All the rescued workers have since been moved to hospital.

Rescuers noted that all the trapped workers were happy to have seen them. The rescue excercise had been watched closely across the country since caved in early on November 12.
