40-yr-old man who allegedly killed father, dumped corpse by roadside arraigned in Kwara
Police have arraigned a fourty-year-old man, Alade Olasunkanmi of Oke Apa compound, Omu-Aran, Kwara State, for allegedly killing his biological father, Dele Alade.
The police report revealed that the lifeless body of the Olasunkanmi’s father was seen on the road at Oke Apa, Omu Aran with visible deep cuts on his left hand.
Police reportedly swung into action and evacuated the deceased’s body to General Hospital, Omu Aran while Olasunkanmi was arrested.
The report further stated that Olasunkanmi was accused of his father’s death because he had earlier engaged in serious physical combat with him which eventually took the effort of the family members to settle.
The Prosecutor, Olayide Sekunda, informed the court that the alleged offence against Olasunkanmi is capital in nature, urging the court to order his remand in the Correctional Service Centre.
Magistrate Folake Olokoyo, who precised over the case, ordered that Olasunkanmi should be remanded till 7th of next month.
